Guru-dakshina is what a family pays Vigyaniq: ₹0.25 for each question your child answers, never more than ₹299 a month. It is owed from your child's first question: no child practises for free on Vigyaniq, and no month is free. You pay by UPI from your own UPI app; Vigyaniq never moves or holds your money.
Who we are
Vigyaniq is a practice app for CBSE students, run by Vigyaniq (Naveen Shahi), vigyaniq.com.
The price
- ₹0.25 for every question your child answers, right or wrong.
- Never more than ₹299 a month for a child, however many questions they answer.
- From your child's first question: there is no free month.
- Each month's guru-dakshina is due at the start of the next month. Your child's Earnings tab, on your phone, shows this month's so far and what is due.
How you pay
"Pay with UPI" opens your own UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or your bank's) with Vigyaniq's UPI ID and the amount filled in; you approve it with your UPI PIN. Back in Vigyaniq, you tap "Yes, paid" to record it. We have no payment gateway: we never see your bank or card details, and the money goes from your account to Vigyaniq's directly.
Your child is paid too
Vigyaniq children are always paid for their practice, ₹1 for every right answer, into their own UPI account. You pay your child from your UPI app the same way. That is between you and your child; guru-dakshina is separate.
Stopping
You can stop at any time: stop using Vigyaniq, or delete your child or your account in the app. You pay only for questions already answered, up to the month you stop; nothing more is ever due.
Refunds
If you paid too much, paid twice, or paid for a month you think is wrong, write to us and we refund what was overpaid to the UPI account it came from.
